This was a good year for West Chicago varsity football. We finished third in the Little Seven Conference with a win-loss record of 5-2-1, the best since 1954! After a bonfire and snake dance Thursday evening, the Coronation of the Queen and a parade through town Friday afternoon, both the Fresh-Soph and Varsity teams beat their St. Charles counter parts Friday evening. For the Varsity, Don Fotre , Dale Hittman and Reggie Haag each scored at least one touch down. Reggie made a couple of extra point conversions for a final score of 26-7.
