60 Year Reunion "Homecoming"
Welcome to our 60 year WCCHS Class of 1963 Homecoming Reunion Page.
- Locations - West Chicago Community High School D94 and Holiday Inn Carol Stream
- Sept 29 & 30, 2023 - WeGo Homecoming Weekend
- Friday Sept 29 - Homecoming at the High School - WCCHS has not published details so visit the D94 Website Alumni Page to get the latest update.
- We do know D94 will host an Alumni tent
- School tour is planned; last year it was 6:00pm-6:45pm
- Varsity game vs Streamwood with reserved alumni seating starting at 7:00pm
- Saturday Sept 30 - Holiday Inn Carol Stream
- Reunion Hospitality 3pm-5pm - Marquee Room
- Cash bar in the restaurant
- Appetizers 5:00pm
- Cash bar in the restaurant
- Reunion Banquet 5pm-10pm - Marquee Room
- Buffet dinner starting at 6:00pm
- Cash bar will be via server from the restaurant
- Reunion Hospitality 3pm-5pm - Marquee Room

Arrival day for some out-of-town classmates and a chance to meet up informally. The school schedule is not published but will likely follow precedent similar to the posting we found online, see below. Catch the parade and school tour (date and time TBD), visit the Alumni tent, grab a bite at the consession stand, in town center or at one of our favorites Pal Joey's or Hawthorne's Backyard. Join the crowd for football or seek out classmates for hospitality at the Holiday Inn restaurant and bar.

Visit the West Chicago History Museum it's modest yet full of interesting tidbits and displays. If you've got questions about the city, ties to the railroad or family history, contact the museum well beforehand and they'll do some research on your behalf. Open summer hours Thursdays & Fridays 9:30am-2:30pm, Saturday 9:30am-3:30pm. Call 630-231-3376 or email [email protected] for more information.
The Kruse House Museum with permanent railroad and household memorabilia along with changing annual display themes. Open Saturdays 11am-3pm May through September. Phone 630-231-0564.
Meet up in the Marquee room at CS Holiday Inn, bring a drink from the bar for a few appetizers and conversation. The Marquee 60 Year Reunion Banquet Room opens 3:00pm with appetizers served at 5:00pm; dinner service at 6:00pm.
