60 Year Reunion

Gathering from 3:00pm Saturday 9/30/2023 at Holiday Inn Carol Stream classmates and partners celebrated the 60 Year West Chicago Community High School Class of 1963 Reunion.   Upgraded banquet room, good food and wide ranging conversation set the tone for a memorable evening ending shortly after 9:00pm for most attendees. Word later surfaced that three of our members hung out in the restaurant bar until closing.

40th Monthly Zoom Meeting

Five of us met in the zoom lounge this month for two full sessions.  Among our many topics of discussion was our up-coming reunion in just 2 weeks.

Donn Fairbank Passed Away

​This email was sent to Tom Overton on August 20, 2023:

Tom, this is Marcy Fairbank, Donn’s wife.  I want to let you know that Donn died last Thursday, August 17th.  He was at an inpatient hospice house where he was pain free and comfortable.  Unfortunately, he had a family history of Alzheimer’s and that’s what he succumbed to.  He was such a good, kind and intelligent man and he will be missed by me and our family.
 
I know the 60 year class reunion is in September.  Please feel free to share this information with his classmates.
